Vince Zampella, a Gaming Pioneer, Has Died in an LA Vehicle Accident

The visionary game developer, who helped create the globally famous video game Call of Duty, has passed away in a car accident in California at the age of 55.

Zampella's death was verified by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, a game studio which he helped establish.

The renowned game designer lost his life when his automobile collided and burst into flames on a motorway in the Los Angeles area on this past Sunday, as reported by.

"This is an unimaginable loss, and our hearts are with Vince's family, his loved ones, and all those touched by his creative vision," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts said.
